Salisbury 23, VJC 4

Salisbury, MD.- Villa Julie traveled to #5 Salisbury University for today's game. The Mustangs fell 23-4 to the Seahawks.

Scoring for the Mustangs in the first period was freshman Meghan Smith (Stevensville, MD/Kent Island) assisted by Kristyna Hnzida (Manchester, MD/North Carroll) and Lauren Zegowitz (Gaithersburg, MD/Damascus) scored off of a free position shot.

In the second half, Jamie Jones (Glen Burnie/Glen Burnie) unassistedly hit the net, followed by junior Ashley Cathcart (Reisterstown, MD/Franklin) scoring the Mustangs' last goal of the day, assisted by Nikki Miller (Glen Burnie/Northeast).

Salisbury controlled the field for the afternoon giving the Mustangs a hard battle. With the loss the Mustangs' record falls to 1-4 and 1-3 in the CAC. They take the road again on Tuesday to play at Lynchburg at 7:00 pm.
