McGrath returns for her second season as an assistant women's lacrosse coach at Stevenson in 2013. She spent the 2011 season as a graduate assistant at Frostburg State.
A 2008 graduate of Hofstra with a bachelor of science degree in exercise science, McGrath played four seasons for the Pride's women's lacrosse team from 2005-08. She played in 51 career games, totaling 28 points with 19 goals and nine assists. She also had 12 ground balls, 22 draw controls and 11 caused turnovers.
McGrath was a member of the Hofstra's 2007 Colonial Athletic Association championship team that advanced to the NCAA Division I Women's Lacrosse Championship. The Pride was also nationally-ranked in three of her four seasons from 2005-07.
Off the field, McGrath was named to the Dean’s List and CAA Academic Team.
In 2008, McGrath has worked as a sports trainer at Shropshire Sports Training in Columbia where she helped develop and implement strength and speed programs for athletes of various ages.
McGrath has served as a club lacrosse coach for Hero's 2014 in Howard County since 2004. She also served as the Assistant Director for the Hero's Summer League from 2004-09.
Over the last few years, McGrath has developed an extensive background in coaching lacrosse at the Elevate Lacrosse Camps (2004-2007), Laxology Clinics (2005-06), University of Virginia Camps (July 2005), InCrease Lacrosse Clinics (2007-08) and Gamebreaker Lacrosse Camps (June 2007-08). She has also given private lacrosse lessons since 2007.
