Catholic Defeats Mustangs 2-0

Swarthmore, PA.-

Despite sophomore Casey Brown's (Barnesville, MD/Poolesville) 13 saves, the Mustangs fell to Catholic University in the final of the Swathmore Classic 2-0. After coming off a 2-1 win versus Neumann College yesterday, the team's record falls to 1-1.

Villas defense prevented further damage with excellent play from freshman Katie Amos (Baltimore, MD/Catholic), and sophomore Meghan Smith (Stevensville, MD/Kent Island).

The Mustang's travel to Washington College on September 5.
