Tiffany McKee Named MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week

ANNVILLE, Pa. - After posted a pair of shutouts to opening the season, Stevenson women's soccer senior Tiffany McKee was named the MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week announced on Tuesday. It is the seventh defensive player of the week honor for McKee in her career.

McKee opened the year with a nine-save shutout to lead the Mustangs (2-0) to a 2-0 victory over Methodist. She needed just one save to preserve a 1-0 overtime win versus Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

In her three-plus year career, McKee has recorded 17 solo shutouts as well as seven additional shared shutouts. She is just four shutouts shy of tying the program record held by Brittany Ross '12.

The senior also has 29 career victories in net, which is seven shy of the record also held by Ross.

Stevenson wraps up its three game home stand on Wednesday, September 6 when the Mustangs host a non-conference contest versus Gettysburg beginning at 7:00 p.m.
