Last season, Graeme Millar began his stint as VJC's 6th
head coach in the programs history. Millar was promoted to
head coach after one season as an assistant at Villa
Julie. As Lynnette Buffingtons' lead assistant, the
Mustangs made their second trip to the NCAA tournament in which
they defeated The College of Notre Dame in the first round, and
then fell to The College of New Jersey in the round of 32. In 2007,
Millar helped the Mustangs transition to the highly regarded
Capital Athletic Conference. In his first season, Millar helped VJC
record impressive wins in their first CAC outing and is ready to
challenge the top teams in 2008.
As a native of Scotland, he played soccer at the collegiate level for Glasgow Caledonian University and at amateur level for Glasgow Westerlands in the Glasgow Western Division. Millar attended Cardonald College where he achieved a Higher National Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development. He, then, pursued a job with Major League Soccer Camps in America. While working for MLS, Millar coached and trained hundreds of youth players in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Michigan, and worked primarily with youth players of former Major League Soccer teams Dallas Burn and the New York Metrostars.
Before moving to Baltimore, Millar studied and worked in New Jersey for two years where he completed his Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Millar graduated Summa Cum Laude and gained program distinction in the environmental field. During his spell in the Garden State, Millar coached and trained teams at Upper Township, Atlantic United and Mount Laurel United.
Millar currently holds the NSCAA Premier Diploma and
the U.S.S.F. "B" coaching license and has completed several
licenses for the Scottish Football Association. He also
received his NSCAA National and Advanced National coaching
licenses, both with distinction. Millar is currently the
Co-Head Coach for the Maryland Olympic Development Program 1995
Girls Team and served as the assistant coach for the 2008
U18 Maryland State Cup Champions, the Freestate Shooters.
Millar is currently coaching and training the ASA Illusion U18
girls team.
Graeme currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland with his wife,
Erin, who works as a lawyer for Whiteford, Taylor &
Preston.

Win Puffer Women's Soccer
Win Puffer joins Graeme Millar and VJC on the sidelines as the Mustang's Assistant Coach. Puffer comes to VJC with a tremendous amount of coaching experience at the highest levels. Currently a full time staff coach with the Washington Freedom of the former WUSA women's professional league. Win is an Assistant Coach for the Freedom's W-League Team and Head Coach for the U20 team. Both teams made it to the North American Finals in 2007, the W-League team winning the Championship and the U20's falling short in defending their 2006 North American Championship when Puffer was the Assistant Coach.
A USSF licensed coach, Puffer has been a Maryland Girls Olympic Development Program staff coach since 2004 serving as a head coach for the U14 age group. Before switching to the girls side, Puffer served with both the Maryland and his native New Hampshire's ODP programs working with the boys since 1999. Prior to his appointment to the Freedom staff, Puffer was the Program Director at a local soccer club and a staff coach at Loyola Blakefield HS in Baltimore working with both the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. In 2005 he helped lead the Dons to the MIAA Championship. He is currently the head coach for the 2007 US Club Soccer National Champions and 2008 U18 Maryland State Cup Champions, the Freestate Shooters.
Raised in Durham, NH, Puffer currently resides in Owings Mills, MD
