Win Puffer Women's Soccer

Win Puffer joins Graeme Millar and SU on the sidelines as the Mustang's Assistant Coach for the second season.  Puffer comes to Stevenson with a tremendous amount of coaching experience at the highest levels.  Currently a full time staff coach with the Washington Freedom of the former WUSA women's professional league.   Win is an Assistant Coach for the Freedom's W-League Team and Head Coach for the U20 team.  Both teams made it to the North American Finals in 2007, the W-League team winning the Championship and the U20's falling short in defending their 2006 North American Championship when Puffer was the Assistant Coach. 

A USSF licensed coach, Puffer has been a Maryland Girls Olympic Development Program staff coach since 2004 serving as a head coach for the U14 age group.  Before switching to the girls side, Puffer served with both the Maryland and his native New Hampshire's ODP programs working with the boys since 1999. Prior to his appointment to the Freedom staff, Puffer was the Program Director at a local soccer club and a staff coach at Loyola Blakefield HS in Baltimore working with both the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams.  In 2005 he helped lead the Dons to the MIAA Championship.  He is currently the head coach for the 2007 US Club Soccer National Champions and 2008 U18 Maryland State Cup Champions, the Freestate Shooters.      

Raised in Durham, NH, Puffer currently resides in Owings Mills, MD
