Last season, Graeme Millar began his stint as SU's 6th head coach in the programs history.  Millar was promoted to head coach after one season as an assistant at Stevenson University.  As Lynnette Buffingtons' lead assistant, the Mustangs made their second trip to the NCAA tournament in which they defeated The College of Notre Dame in the first round, and then fell to The College of New Jersey in the round of 32. In 2007, Millar helped the Mustangs transition to the highly regarded Capital Athletic Conference. In his first season, Millar helped SU record impressive wins in their first CAC outing and is ready to challenge the top teams in 2008.

As a native of Scotland, he played soccer at the collegiate level for Glasgow Caledonian University and at amateur level for Glasgow Westerlands in the Glasgow Western Division.  Millar attended Cardonald College where he achieved a Higher National Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development. He, then, pursued a job with Major League Soccer Camps in America.  While working for MLS, Millar coached and trained hundreds of youth players in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Michigan, and worked primarily with youth players of former Major League Soccer teams Dallas Burn and the New York Metrostars.

Before moving to Baltimore, Millar studied and worked in New Jersey for two years where he completed his Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Millar graduated Summa Cum Laude and gained program distinction in the environmental field. During his spell in the Garden State, Millar coached and trained teams at Upper Township, Atlantic United and Mount Laurel United.

Millar currently holds the NSCAA Premier Diploma and the U.S.S.F. "B" coaching license and has completed several licenses for the Scottish Football Association.  He also received his NSCAA National and Advanced National coaching licenses, both with distinction. Millar is currently the Co-Head Coach for the Maryland Olympic Development Program 1995 Girls Team and served as the assistant coach for the 2008 U18 Maryland State Cup Champions, the Freestate Shooters. Millar is currently coaching and training the ASA Illusion U18 girls team.

Graeme currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland with his wife, Erin, who works as a lawyer for Whiteford, Taylor & Preston.
