The sixth head coach in program history, Millar begins his fourth season at Stevenson in 2009 and his third season as the head women's soccer coach. He also serves as the department's Game Day Manager.
A year ago, Millar led a young and talented team to an 11-6-4 record and the quarterfinals of the ECAC Division III South Region Championship. The team boasted two All-CAC selections, including the CAC Rookie of the Year Stefanie Eyler who scored a conference-record 21 goals and 47 points.
In his first season, Millar led the Mustangs to an 8-11 overall record and a mark of 3-5 in their first season in the CAC. The team started the season with wins in six of its first nine games and two of its first three conference games, including a 5-2 victory over Marymount (Va.) on Sept. 20, 2007 in the program's first CAC contest.
A native of Scotland, Millar came to Stevenson in 2006 as an assistant under Lynnette Buffington. After helping the Mustangs to their second appearance in the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship, he was promoted to head coach in June 2007.
As Buffingtons' lead assistant, Millar helped lead Stevenson to a school record 15 wins in 2007. The Mustangs advanced to the second round of the NCAA championship after defeating Notre Dame (Md.), 3-1.
Prior to Stevenson, Millar studied and worked in New Jersey for two years where he received his bachelor's degree in environmental science from Richard Stockton in 2005. He graduated summa cum laude and gained program distinction in the environmental field.
While in New Jersey, Millar coached and trained teams at Upper Township, Atlantic United and Mount Laurel United.
Millar played soccer at the college level for Glasgow Caledonian and as an amateur for Glasgow Westerlands in the Glasgow Western Division. He attended Cardonald College where he achieved a higher national diploma in sports coaching and vevelopment.
After coming to the US, Millar worked with Major League Soccer Camps where he coached and trained hundreds of youth players in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Michigan. He worked primarily with youth players of former MLS teams the Dallas Burn and New York Metrostars.
Millar currently holds the NSCAA Premier Diploma and the USSF "B" coaching license and has completed several licenses for the Scottish Football Association. He also received his NSCAA National and Advanced National coaching licenses, both with distinction.
Millar has served as the head coach of the Maryland Olympic Development Program 1995 girls team since 2006 and was the head coach of the ASA Illusion U18 girls team for two seasons in 2008 and 2009. Also in 2008, Millar was an assistant coach for the U18 Maryland State Cup champion Freestate Shooters under head coach and current Stevenson assistant Win Puffer.
Millar and his wife, Erin, who is a lawyer for Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, currently live in Baltimore.

Win Puffer

Current Washington Freedom assistant coach Win Puffer returns for his third season as an assistant women's soccer coach at Stevenson in 2009.
In addition to his coaching duties, Puffer is the Freedom's Soccer Club Director as well where he oversees the team's four USL Super-Y League teams and USL Super-20 League team. He also serves as the head coach of the club's W-League team.
Puffer joined the Freedom in 2006 as an assistant coach for their Under-20 team, helping to lead them to the first Super-20 North American title.
In 2007, Puffer was then named as an assistant with the Freedom's W-League squad and as the head coach of the U20 team. Both teams advanced to the North American finals that year with the W-League team capturing the championship.
After two years as an assistant in the W-League, Puffer was promoted to head coach prior to the 2009 season where he guided the Freedom to a 14-2-2 record and the league finals. During his last two seasons, Puffer mentored current Stevenson assistant Brittany Tegeler who has totaled 46 points on 18 goals and 10 assists in her two seasons in the league.
Also from 2007-09, Puffer was the head coach of the Freestate Shooters who won the 2007 US Club Soccer national championship and 2008 U18 Maryland State Cup title.
Prior to the Freedom, Puffer was the program director for the Thunder Soccer Club while assisting with the varsity and junior varsity teams coach at Loyola Blakefield High School in Baltimore. In 2005, he helped lead the Dons' to the MIAA championship.
A USSF licensed coach, Puffer has been a coach in the Maryland Girls Olympic Development Program since 2004, serving as a head coach for the U14 age group. Before that, he worked with both the Maryland and New Hampshire ODP boys' programs from 1999-2003.
Before moving to Maryland in 2002, Puffer worked with his boyhood club Seacoast United SC in New Hampshire while also playing for the state's semi-pro indoor team from 2000-02.
Puffer was also a member of the Allegheny men's soccer team from 1995-97 before an injury forced him to serve as an assistant coach as a senior in 1998.
Born in Durham, New Hampshire, Puffer currently resides in Owings Mills.

Mike Radcliffe

Radcliffe comes to Stevenson for his first season in 2009 where he will serve as the goalkeeping coach for both the men's and women's soccer teams.
A 2009 graduate of McDaniel with a bachelor of science degree in history and a minor in education, Radcliffe played four seasons for the Green Terror from 2005-08, including two under current Stevenson men's coach John Plevyak. He was also teammates with current men's assistant Thomas Kane in 2005 when the team won the Centennial Conference regular season championship.
Radcliffe totaled 40 saves and a .714 saves percentage at McDaniel and ranks fourth with 2.86 saves per game. As a senior, he appeared in eight games with seven starts, totaling a 2.57 goals against average and a .686 saves percentage in 559 minutes.
Prior to Stevenson, Radcliffe as the goalkeeping coach for the Baltimore Soccer Club United U16 team who advanced to the semifinals of the 2009 Maryland State Cup and is currently ranked third in the state by National Soccer Ranking.com.
Radclife played at Perry Hall in Baltimore where he was a team captain as a senior. He currently resides in Kingsville.
