The sixth head coach in program history, Millar begins his fifth season at Stevenson in 2010 and his fourth as the head women's soccer coach. He also serves as the department's Game Day Manager and was recently appointed to the department's senior management team.

Over the past two seasons, Millar has led the team to a record of 26-10-6, the most wins for a two-year period in the team's 16-year history, and back-to-back postseason appearances for the first time.

Since Millar joined the coaching staff as an assistant in 2006, Stevenson has posted a 49-29-6 record, advanced to two conference championship games, two ECAC Division III South Championships and one NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship.

A year ago, Millar was named 2009 CAC Women's Soccer Coach of the Year, sharing the honor with Mary Washington's Corey Hewson, after leading the Mustangs to a school record 15 wins, their second-straight ECAC Division III South Region Championship, the CAC title game and a share of the CAC regular season title.

Stevenson boasted five All-CAC selections as well as the CAC Player of the Year in sophomore Stephanie Eyler and CAC Rookie of the Year for the second consecutive season in freshman Melinda Kane. The team also also received the prestigous NSCAA Gold Team Ethics Award and had five players named to the 2009 NSCAA Scholar All-East Region Team.

In addition, Eyler was the first player in school history to receive all-region honors as she was named to the NSCAA Women's NCAA Division III All-South Atlantic Region Second Team.

In 2008, Millar led a young and talented team to an 11-6-4 record and the quarterfinals of the ECAC Division III South Region Championship. The team had two All-CAC selections, including the CAC Rookie of the Year Stephanie Eyler who scored a conference-record 22 goals and 49 points.

In his first season, Millar led the Mustangs to an 8-11 overall record in 2007 and a mark of 3-5 in their first season in the CAC. The team started the season with wins in six of its first nine games and two of its first three conference games, including a 5-2 victory over Marymount (Va.) on September 20 in the program's first CAC contest.

A native of Scotland, Millar came to Stevenson in 2006 as an assistant under Lynnette Buffington. As the lead assistant, he helped lead Stevenson to a school record 15 wins and the second round of the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship after a 3-1 victory over Notre Dame (Md.) at home.

After helping the Mustangs to their second appearance in the NCAA tournament, Millar was promoted to head coach in June 2007.

Prior to Stevenson, Millar studied and worked in New Jersey for two years where he received his bachelor's degree in environmental science from Richard Stockton in 2005. He graduated summa cum laude and gained program distinction in the environmental field.

While in New Jersey, Millar coached and trained teams at Upper Township, Atlantic United and Mount Laurel United.

Millar played soccer at the college level for Glasgow Caledonian and as an amateur for Glasgow Westerlands in the Glasgow Western Division. He attended Cardonald College where he achieved a higher national diploma in sports coaching and vevelopment.

After coming to the US, Millar worked with Major League Soccer Camps where he coached and trained hundreds of youth players in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Michigan. He worked primarily with youth players of former MLS teams the Dallas Burn and New York Metrostars.

Millar currently holds the NSCAA Premier Diploma and the USSF "B" coaching license and has completed several licenses for the Scottish Football Association. He also received his NSCAA National and Advanced National coaching licenses, both with distinction.

Millar has served as the head coach of the Maryland Olympic Development Program 1995 girls team since 2006 and was the head coach of the ASA Illusion U18 girls team for two seasons in 2008 and 2009. Also in 2008, he was an assistant coach for the U18 Maryland State Cup champion Freestate Shooters under head coach and current Stevenson assistant, Win Puffer.

In September 2009, Millar was promoted to Girls ODP Director of the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association, a position he held for one year.

Millar and his wife, Erin, a lawyer for Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, currently live in Baltimore and are the proud parents of newborn son Gavin, born in June 2010.

 




Brittany Tegeler

Tegeler returns for her second season as an assistant at Stevenson in 2010 following a stellar college and professional career for the University of Connecticut and Washington Freedom.

A 2009 graduate of Connecticut, Tegler was a two-time All-BIG EAST selection for the Huskies who appeared in all 88 of the team's games from 2005-08 while making 64 starts. She totaled 49 points on 19 goals and 11 assists as UConn went 47-27-14 and advanced to three NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championships in 2005, 2006 and 2007.

As a senior, Tegeler was a team captain, All-BIG EAST Second Team selection and one of 30 players to be named as a candidate for the Lowe's Senior Class Award. She was also named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team, a recipient of the BIG EAST Scholar-Athlete Excellence Award and the UConn Club Outstanding Senior Athlete Award.

While at UConn, Tegeler played for Tony DiCicco's SoccerplusCT WPSL team that was named U-23 national champions in 2006.

Tegeler graduated from Connecticut with a 3.74 grade point average and was a five-time member of the Dean's List. She was also an intern for the women's soccer team and the Connecticut Attorney General's Office.

Following graduation, Tegeler was invited to the Washington Freedom's preseason camp and spent two seasons with the organization's W-League team where she totaled 46 points on 18 goals and 10 assists in two seasons in 2008 and 2009. She was one of 11 players named to the W-League's All-Eastern Conference Team in 2008.

Prior to UConn, Tegeler attended McDonough High School where she was a two-year captain and earned all-city, all-county, all-region, all-state and all-american honors while scoring 100 career goals, the second-most in school history.

Tegeler also played club for Bethesda Excel who won three regional championships and advanced to the national title game twice. She also was a member of the Maryland ODP program and Region I.

In addition to her playing credentials, Tegeler has garnered experience working numerous soccer camps from 2006-09, including with well-known players such as Sonny Askew and Laurie Schwoy.

 




Jamie Zimmerman

A four-year starter at the Division I level, including three at the University of Alabama and one at the University of Richmond, Zimmerman joins the Mustangs for her first season in 2010.

In four collegiate seasons from 2005-08, Zimmerman totaled four points on four assists while appearing in 69 games with 56 starts. She spent her final three years in Tuscaloosa where she played in 56 of the Crimson Tide's 59 games with 46 starts.

Zimmerman's best season came as a senior in 2008 when she was a team captain and posted two assists in 17 games to help lead Alabama to a 9-9-2 mark, its first .500 record since 2005. One of her assists came in the second overtime of a 1-0 victory over Wright State. The Tide also made its first appearance in the SEC Tournament since 2004.

As a junior, Zimmerman was named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll and was one of four players to play in all 20 games, totaling one assist.

Zimmerman graduated from Alabama in 2009 and played one season for the Philadelphia Liberty of the WPSL, totaling one assist in six games, after being invited to the team's pro mini camp. She then spent one year as intern coaching girls' soccer at Bryant High School in Tuscaloosa.

Prior to college, Zimmerman was a four-year standout for John Carroll High School where was a three-time NSCAA All-State and Baltimore All-Metro selection, two-time NSCAA All-South honoree and the 2003 Hartford County Player of the Year. She was also a team captain as a senior and played two years of varsity basketball.

Zimmerman lives in White Hall and is the daughter of former Stevenson associate athletics director and current physical education instructor Carol Zimmerman.

 




Christina Eury

Eury begins her first year as a graduate assistant at Stevenson in 2010 and is no stranger to the women's soccer program after spending the last four seasons at CAC rival Salisbury.

A 2010 graduate of Salisbury, Eury played four seasons for the Sea Gulls from 2006-09, serving as a team captain as a junior and senior. Eury appeared in 66 of the team's 70 games while making 51 starts and totaling 36 points on 12 goals and 12 assists.

Eury was a member of two NCAA tournament teams in 2006 and 2007 and one CAC championship team in 2006. During her career, the Sea Gulls posted a 42-18-10 record.

Eury earned All-CAC First Team honors as a senior in 2009 after leading the team with 16 points and seven goals, four of which were game-winners, as the team finished 10-3-3 and shared the CAC regular season title with Stevenson.

As a sophomore, Eury had three goals and five assists as Salisbury made its second consecutive appearance in the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship, finishing with a 14-4-1 record.

Off the field, Eury was a three-time CAC All-Academic Team selection, graduating cum laude with a 3.7 grade point average and receiving her bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. She was a member of the Dean's List each semester and in 2008, was named to the NSCAA Scholar All-East Region Team.

Eury was a member of the Honor Student Committee, the Zeta chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma and vice president of Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honor Society. She also played basketball for the Sea Gulls for two seasons and spent two years in the WPSL for the Central Delaware SA Future.

Prior to Salisbury, Eury was a four-year standout in both soccer and basketball at Damascus High School, serving as a team captain for both as a junior and senior. The Hornets won back-to-back regional championships in soccer 2004 and 2005, advancing to the state finals in 2005.

 




Tonia Cristino

Cristino returns for her second season as an assistant coach at Stevenson in 2010 while finishing her master's degree in business technology management and working in the School for Graduate and Professional Studies.

A standout, two-sport athlete at Stevenson, Cristino received her bachelor's degree in 2009 in business communication after a stellar career in both soccer and basketball. On the soccer field, she finished with a school record 113 points on 47 goals and 19 assists and was a three-time all-conference selection from 2005-08.

As as senior in 2008, Cristino finished second on the team with 18 points on eight goals and two assists as the Mustangs went 11-5-4 and earned the fifth-seed in the ECAC Division III South Region Championship.

In 2007, Cristino was named to the All-CAC Second Team after leading the team with nine goals and 23 points. A two-time All-North Eastern Athletic Conference selection, she also led the team in scoring as a sophomore and freshman, totaling 16 goals and 38 points in 2006 and 14 goals and 34 points in 2005.

As a four-year starter in women’s basketball from 2004-08, Cristino played in 105 career games, totaling 709 points, 325 assists and 237 rebounds. She was also a three-time all-conference selection on the basketball court, earning All-CAC Second Team honors as a senior.

Tonia graduated from Hempfield High School in Pennsylvania.

 




Katie Decker

Decker joins the coaching staff for her first season in 2010 after spending the last two as a player and earning her bachelor's degree in paralegal studies from Stevenson in May.

In two seasons with the Mustangs after transferring from Division II Lock Haven, Decker appeared in 40 of the team's 41 games while making 39 starts and totaling 23 points on four goals and 15 assists. She was also a two-time CAC All-Academic selection.

As a senior in 2009, Decker started all 21 of the team's games and led the Mustangs with 11 assists and was fourth on the team with 17 points in helping to lead Stevenson to a school record 15 wins, a share of the CAC regular season title and an appearance in the semifinals of the ECAC Division III South Region Championship. She also had a game-winning goal.

Decker totaled six points on one goal and four assists as a junior in 2008 during her first season while appearing in 19 of the team’s 20 games with 18 starts.

In two seasons at Lock Haven in 2006 and 2007, Decker appeared in 28 of the team's 39 games while making eight starts as a sophomore and totaling one assist as a freshman.

Decker is a graduate of Hereford High School.

 




Win Puffer

Former Washington Freedom assistant coach Win Puffer returns for his fourth season as an assistant women's soccer coach at Stevenson in 2010.

In addition to his coaching duties, Puffer also served as the Freedom's Soccer Club Director where he oversaw the team's four USL Super-Y League teams and USL Super-20 League team. He also served as the head coach of the club's W-League team.

Puffer joined the Freedom in 2006 as an assistant coach for their Under-20 team, helping to lead them to the first Super-20 North American title.

In 2007, Puffer was then named as an assistant with the Freedom's W-League squad and as the head coach of the U20 team. Both teams advanced to the North American finals that year with the W-League team capturing the championship.

After two years as an assistant in the W-League, Puffer was promoted to head coach prior to the 2009 season where he guided the Freedom to a 14-2-2 record and the league finals. During his last two seasons, Puffer mentored current Stevenson assistant Brittany Tegeler.

Also from 2007-09, Puffer was the head coach of the Freestate Shooters who won the 2007 US Club Soccer national championship and 2008 U18 Maryland State Cup title.

Prior to the Freedom, Puffer was the program director for the Thunder Soccer Club while assisting with the varsity and junior varsity teams coach at Loyola Blakefield High School in Baltimore. In 2005, he helped lead the Dons' to the MIAA championship.

A USSF licensed coach, Puffer has been a coach in the Maryland Girls Olympic Development Program since 2004, serving as a head coach for the U14 age group. Before that, he worked with both the Maryland and New Hampshire ODP boys' programs from 1999-2003.

Before moving to Maryland in 2002, Puffer worked with his boyhood club Seacoast United SC in New Hampshire while also playing for the state's semi-pro indoor team from 2000-02.

Puffer was also a member of the Allegheny men's soccer team from 1995-97 before an injury forced him to serve as an assistant coach as a senior in 1998.

Born in Durham, New Hampshire, Puffer currently resides in Owings Mills.
