Ramsland Picks Up Three Victories, Sets School Record in Loss to Lycoming

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Senior Isabelle Ramsland picked up three first-place finishes, but the Stevenson women's swimming team was edged out by visiting Lycoming, 93-89.

In her 400 Individual Medley victory, Ramsland touched the wall in a school-record time of 4:59.97.  Senior Julianna Burnett took second with a 5:03.98. 

Ramsland would later take first in the 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:04.71, while freshman Emily Wolff took second with a 1:08.05. Ramslad's third win came in the 500 Yard Freestyle, where she touched the wall in 5:52.26. 

Burnett clocked a 57.25 in the 100 Free, giving her first-place overall by .14 seconds over Cara Zortman of Lycoming. Burnett would also place second in the 100 Breaststroke with a 1:09.88.

Senior Colby Stein earned the other individual victory for the Mustangs in the 100 Back with a 1:01.55. 

To close out the meet, Wolff, Stein, senior Natalie Wasicko and freshman Zoe Pflieger finished with a combined time of 1:48.34 to take first overall. 

Stein and junior Melanie Milam finished tied for second in the 50 Free at 26.42 seconds. 

The Mustangs compete next in a dual meet hosted by King's (Pa.) on Saturday, November 10 at 1 p.m.
