Women's Tennis Heats Up Against York

York, PA- The Mustangs had an intense battle against the York College Spartans this afternoon. Villa won 2 out of 3 doubles matches but ended up being defeated 5-4 on the day.

In singles play, #2 Becky Matlack defeated Nelson 6-2, 6-4 and #4 Sarah Searing defeated Doutrich 5-7, 7-6, 10-6. In doubles, #1 Searing and Samm Rasnake defeated Acker and Muir 9-8 and #2 Matlack and Barb Hnizda defeated Nelson and Doutrich 9-7.

The Mustangs return to their home court to take on Richard Stockton at 12:30 on Saturday the 15^th.
