Mustangs Take Match in Three

Stevenson, MD-

The Mustangs overtook the Wesley Wolverines in 3 games with line scores of 30-15, 30-14, and 30-15. Villa Julie improves their overall record to 16-10 and their CAC record to 2-5.

Alana Eller (Ellicott City, MD/Centennial) led the Mustangs offensively and defensively with 12 kills and nine digs. Alex Mercer (Eldersburg, MD/Liberty) added 10 kills with four solo blocks and four block assists. Brittany Umetin (Havre de Grace, MD/Mt. Zion) and Jessica Smiley (Baltimore, MD/Kenwood) tallied six digs each.

The Mustangs continue at home when they compete on the court against Lancaster Bible College on October 18 at 7 p.m.
