Mustangs Make Clean Sweep at Marymount

Owings Mills, MD- The Mustangs traveled to Marymount to play the Saints and College of Notre Dame in a tri-match last weekend. Villa dominated the court overtaking the Saints 3-0 (30-8, 30-15, 30-17) and Notre Dame 3-0 (30-16, 30-28, 30-17).

Danielle Katsampis led the Mustangs with 25 kills for the day, along with teammate Alana Eller who had a double-double against Marymount with 13 kills and 11 digs and added 13 digs on the day against Notre Dame. Alex Mercer owned the net with 4 solo blocks for the day.

The Mustangs return to their home court on Tuesday to take on local-rival Goucher College at 7pm.
