Instructors
David Trumbo, Camp Director
Coach Trumbo has over 26 years experience coaching and
officiating volleyball at all levels. He just completed his first
year at Villa Julie with a successful 21-11 record. He is the
former Head Coach at Liberty High School (1996-2006) where he
captured 2 State Championships, 9 Carroll County Championships, 7
titles, and six trips to the State Final Four. He was the 2003
Baltimore Metro Coach of the Year and had an overall record of
167-31. Dave founded the Liberty Volleyball Camp in 1997. The camp
has been in operation for 11 years and serves 135 Middle School
girls.
Camp Staff
Jeff Blake
Current Men's Head Volleyball Coach, Villa Julie College.
Coach Blake led the VJC Men's team to the NECVA Championships for
the 1st time in VJC history in 2006. Jeff also coached volleyball
at Calvert Hall for 5 years where he has been a Teacher for 21
years.
Mindy Minchoff
Currently the Varsity Coach at Francis Scott Key High
School, Coach Minchoff has led FSK to a 26-6 record in two seasons.
She played her collegiate volleyball at McDaniel College. She is a
Physical Education Teacher in Carroll County.

Camp Information
The 'Spike-It!' Volleyball Camp is designed for athletes
entering 10th grade or club players entering 9th grade. Under the
guidance of an excellent teaching staff, athletes will participate
in a variety of sessions that key in on demonstration, skill
acquisition and competitive game-like drills. This camp is also
designed to provide lots of FUN and competitive experiences,
concentrating on improving teaqm play and strategy through unique
games and tournaments.
