The Villager Female Athlete of the Week

Stevenson women's volleyball senior Alana Eller (Ellicott City/Centennial) was selected as The Villager Female Athlete of the Week on September 9. Tuesday's selection marks the first of year by the school's newspaper.

Eller was instrumental in Stevenson's perfect 3-0 start to the season with victories over CAC foe Wesley, Washington (Md.) and Cedar Crest. In three matches, Eller led the Mustangs with 30 kills while posting a .482 hitting percentage. She also totaled 33 digs, eight service aces and three block assists.

In a 3-0 win over Wesley in the season opener, she totaled a team-high 13 kills while hitting .600 along with  a team-high eight digs, four service aces and three block assists. In
a 3-1 win over Washington (Md.), Eller just missed a double double, posting nine kills and 19 digs, both team highs.

For her efforts, Eller was also named CAC Volleyball Co-Player of the Week on September 2.
