The Villager Female Athlete of the Week

Stevenson women's volleyball junior Alex Mercer (Eldersburg/Liberty) was selected as The Villager Athlete of the Week for December 2nd.

Alex Mercer earned All Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Second Team honors on November 10th. Alex is the second player in the last two seasons to have accomplished this since the Mustangs joined the CAC in 2007. Mercer assisted in the Mustangs' 13-win season, the highest two-year total in the school's history. Mercer finished second on the team this season with 293 kills, and led the team's hit percentage with a .317 percent. She led the team in blocks for her third straight season.
