Imani Hudson Named Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week

ANNVILLE, Pa. - Stevenson women's volleyball sophomore Imani Hudson (Burke, Va./Thomas Edison) was named Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week on Tuesday, marking the first time this season that a Mustang has won the award.

The award is the first player of the week honor for Hudson.

Hudson was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Battlefield Classic hosted by Gettysburg last weekend as the Mustangs finished unbeaten, sweeping all four matches.

Hudson totaled 46 kills and 17 digs while posting a .429 hitting percentage and adding two service aces and nine block assists. She had her best all-around performance against xx when she had Mount Saint Mary (N.Y.) when she had 16 kills, five digs, four block assists and one service ace.

Stevenson opens play in the Commonwealth Conference on Wednesday against Widener. Game time is at 7:00 p.m. The Mustangs were an unanimous picked to finish first in the Commonwealth Conference this season by the league coaches.
