Winklbauer Sets Program Record, Places 32nd at NCAA Mideast Regionals

NEWVILLE, Pa. - Junior Kelly Winklbauer clocked a season-best 6k time of 23:12.5, which gave her 32nd overall at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regionals, hosted by Dickinson. Winklbauer's time and place are the best by any runner in program history at an NCAA Mideast Regional meet.

The Mustangs finished 23rd overall out of 49 teams, which is the second-best finish in program history at the NCAA Mideast Regionals. Stevenson finished a program-best 22nd at the 2015 regional meet.

Sophomore Achol Odolla, who was the second Mustang to cross the finish line, completed the 6k course in 24:08.4.

Freshman Emily Gates completed her first collegiate season with a time of 24:43.1, while sophomore Cassandra Morris ran a 25:32.

Junior Kayla Bias clocked a 26:50 to complete the team score for Stevenson.

Hopkins and Elizabethtown earned automatic bids into the NCAA Division III Championships after finishing first and second overall with scores of 32 and 100. Ellie Clawson of Hopkins will head to nationals after finishing first overall with a time of 21:33.5.
