Mustangs Finish Fourth at Shannon Henretty Invite

STEVENSON, MD. - The host Stevenson women's cross country team placed fourth out of 10 teams at the Shannon Henretty Invitational, held at the Greenspring Campus course. The Mustangs, who finished with a team score of 116, were led by freshman Mikhayla Sabo who took 20th place with a 6k time of 25:06.59.

Junior Achol Odolla clocked a time of 25:22.52 to place 25th overall for the Mustangs. 

Junior Cassandra Morris finished the course with time of 25:57.46, while sophomore Emily Gates ran a 27:15.77.

Senior Mary Sam completed the team score for Stevenson with a 28:08.13. Senior Kayla Bias ran a 28:19.91. 

Felicia Koerner of Hopkins took the individual title with a 22:48.31. The runners from Hopkins took each of the first five places, giving them the team title with a score of 15.

The Mustangs will have a few weeks off from competition before taking part in the Don Cathcart Invitational, hosted by Salisbury, on Saturday, September 29 at 9:45 am.
