OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Ed Hottle, the first head coach in the history of Stevenson's newly-founded football team, was featured in Saturday's Baltimore Sun.
Hottle will work to establish Stevenson's program by recruiting student-athletes for a developmental season to start in fall 2010 with the plan of beginning intercollegiate competition in fall 2011.
In five seasons at Gallaudet, Hottle amassed a 27-20 record, the first two of which were as a club team in 2005 and 2006. In 2009, he was selected by his peers as the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference Coach of the Year after he led the Bison to a mark of 6-4 and a second-place finish.
