Shur Finishes Tied for Ninth at Hood College Fall Invitational

MIDDLETOWN, Md. - Stevenson men's golf freshman Matthew Shur finished tied for ninth after shooting an 86 at the Hood College Golf Invitational held at the Maryland National Golf Club. The Mustangs finished with a team score of 351, placing them fourth overall.

Freshman Matthew Maione and sophomore Chris Miller each shot a 87, placing them into a tie for 11th.

Freshman Christian Miller shot a 91 to complete the team score, while sophomore Brooks Holloway finished the day with a 92. 

Jordan Kirsch of Messiah won the individual title over Jordan Shaffer of Penn State Mont Alto by three strokes after shooting a 75. PSU Mont Alto finished atop the team standings with a total score of 330. 

Stevenson continues its fall campaign at the two-day Ted Keller Memorial, held at the Hanover Country Club starting on Monday, October 11.
