Wally Shoots 73, Tied for Fifth After Opening of Ted Keller Memorial

ASHLAND, Va. - Stevenson men's golf freshman Andrew Wally carded a three-over par 73 in the opening round of the Ted Keller Memorial, held at the Hanover Country Club. Wally, who is currently tied for fifth, has shot a 78 or lower in each of his first eight collegiate rounds.  

The Mustangs are tied for eighth overall out of 18 schools with a combined score of 319. 

Freshman Tyler Slusarczyk opened up with a 78, while junior Austin Fuglestad finished a stroke back with a 79. 

Freshman Kyle Patterson finished the day with an 89. 

Dane Sethre-Hofstad of Gettysburg currently leads the field after shooting an even-par 70 in the opening round. Franklin & Marshall is leading the team standings with a combined score of 297.

The second and final round takes place on Tuesday, October 11.
