Ford Fires Two-Under Par 69, Wins Franklin & Marshall Invite

LITITZ, Pa. - Sophomore Will Ford fired a career-low score of 69 (-2) to win the Franklin & Marshall Invitational, held at the Bent Creek Country Club. The win is the first of his career as a Mustang. Ford's career-low round matches the lowest score by a Mustang this season (Slusarczyk, Spartan Invitational).

The Stevenson "A" team finished fourth out of 13 schools with a team score of 314 (+30).

Senior Tyler Slusarczyk notched a 79 (+8) to finish tied for 20th, while freshman Ronak Patel (B Team) carded a career-best score of 79 to end the day tied for 25th.

Senior Matthew Shur finished the day at 80 to finish tied for 28th overall.

Senior Matthew Maione and sophomore Shane Angle both carded 85's for Stevenson "A", while freshman Leonard Lenahan (B) finished at +16 (87).

Freshmen Joshua Brauer and Frank Sallese, both of the Stevenson "B" team, finished with scores of 89 and 91.

Host Franklin & Marshall won the team title with total score of 307 (+23).

The Mustangs conclude the fall season at the Lebanon Valley Fall Invitational, held at the Lebanon Valley Country Club, on Monday, October 21. Tee time is set for 12:00 p.m.
