NCAA BRACKET

INDIANAPOLIS - The Stevenson University men's lacrosse team, making its 11th consecutive trip to the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship, will travel to No. 13 Franklin and Marshall for a second-round game on Wednesday, May 8.  Game time will be announced Monday.

The Mustangs (12-7) earned an NCAA berth after defeating Lycoming 23-4 in Saturday's MAC Commonwealth Championship and the league's automatic berth.  Stevenson is one of just six schools who have qualified for the NCAA field in each of the past 11 seasons.  The Mustangs enter the NCAAs having won four straight and 11 of their last 12 games.

Franklin and Marshall has been ranked in the USILA Division III Top 20 all season and checked in at No. 13 in the most recent poll.  The Diplomats (12-5) reached the semifinals of the Centennial Conference tournament, falling to eventual champion Ursinus 12-11.  F&M is making its sixth all-time appearance in the NCAA field and first since 2017.

Wednesday will be the first all-time meeting between Stevenson and Franklin and Marshall.

The winner between the Mustangs and Diplomats will face either No. 4 Tufts of the winner of a first round game between New England College and Norwich on Saturday, May 11.  The Jumbos defeated Stevenson at Mustang Stadium earlier this season.

The quarterfinal round is set for Wednesday, May 15, with the semifinals slated for Sunday, May 19.  The championship game will take place at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Sunday, May 26.
