Luca Farina joined the Stevenson men's soccer staff as an assistant coach in the summer of 2017.
Farina served under head coach Graeme Millar on the Mustang women's soccer staff for the 2016 season. Prior to that, he spent two seasons as the head coach of Stevenson's women's club soccer program.
Most recently, Farina served as the head coach of the newly formed U23 Baltimore Kings Women's Soccer Club. During the prior two seasons, he was the varsity assistant coach and junior varsity head coach at nearby Maryvale Preparatory School.
Farina got his hand into coaching while he was a student-athlete at Mount Aloysius, where he was a four-year starter in the midfield for the Mounties. A 2012 team captain, Farina was a four-time AMCC Academic All-Conference honoree. As a senior, he also served as a student assistant, running off-season practices and workouts. He also acted as a student head coach during two coaching changes.
He ranks third in school history in games played with 69.
Farina is a 2013 graduate of Mount Aloysius with a Bachelor's degree in accounting.
