Mustang Men's Swimming Collect Two Wins

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The Stevenson men's swimming team traveled to Lycoming College Saturday afternoon to compete in a dual meet. The men's squad lost 91-53.

The Stevenson men's relay squad opened the meet with an exhibition 200-yard medley relay, Matt Miloszar, Brian Brown, Stephen Kratzer, and Kashif Hardy in 2:26.68.

Junior Miloszar swam his way to second and third place finishes in the 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke, earning himself times of 2:19.09 and 1:04.04, respectively. 

Kratzer brought home two first-place finished for the Mustangs in the 50-yard freestyle (23.67) and in the 100-yard butterfly (56.85), and was runner-up in the 500-yard freestyle, getting his hand on the wall at 5:33.60.

Kasif picked up three third place finishes for Stevenson in the 50-yard freestyle (46.18), 100-yard freestyle (1:51.90), and in the 100-yard backstroke (2:17.80).

Brown posted two second-place finishes and one third-place finishes against Lycoming. In the 200-yard Individual Medley (2:38.81), in the 100-yard butterfly (1:13.63), and the 100-yard breastroke (1:30.63).

To end the day, the relay team of Kratzer, Brown, Miloszar, and Kasif swam to a 2:02.74 in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

The Mustangs return to action on Saturday November 9 at 1 pm as they swim in a dual meet at King's College (Pa.).
