Kulick Wins 3000, Sets Personal Record at Colden Invite

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - Junior Nikita Kulick set a new personal record and took first overall in the 3000 at the Frank Colden Invitational, hosted by Ursinus, with a time of 9:02.24.

Sophomore Clement Onyebadi had a season-best height of 1.88m in the high jump, giving him third overall in the event. Onyebadi would also take 10th in the long jump with a 6.28.

Freshman Hayden Otchere took sixth in the triple jump with a distance of 12.68m, while senior Steven Sneed jumped a 12.62 to take seventh. Otchere currently sits fourth overall in the MAC with a top distance of 12.97m, which took place on January 25 at the Bison Open. 

Seniors Jackson Morrow and Brett Olin clocked times of 16:21.55 and 16.25.11 to take eighth and ninth in the 5000, while sophomore Sean Dodson ran a 2:03.38 in the 800. 

Senior Malcolm Hayward took eighth in the 60m dash finals with a 7.16. 

The Mustangs compete next at the Fasttrack Invitational, held at Ocean Breeze Park in Staten Island, N.Y., on Friday, February 8.
