Case, Davis Qualify for NCAA Indoor Championship

INDIANAPOLIS - Stevenson University sophomores Ritchie Case and Dereck Davis have each qualified for the 2019 NCAA Division III Men's Indoor Track and Field Championship to take place at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston March 8-9.

Case is the No. 17 seed in the heptathlon with 4781 points.  He accumulated that point total January 25-26 at the Bison Open hosted by Bucknell University to place second in the event.

Davis bettered his qualifying time in the 60 meter dash this weekend at the AARTFC Championship hosted by Ithaca College.  He posted a time of 6.89 seconds in Friday's preliminary to settle in as the No. 16 seed.  His time of 6.89 seconds is just 0.01 off the program record.

The heptathlon kicks off Friday's action beginning at 10 am, while the 60 meter dash preliminaries are set for 2:45 pm Friday, with the final slated for 2:20 pm on Saturday.
