OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Stevenson University men's cross country team is home three times as part of its 2018 schedule consisting of eight races. The Mustangs kick off the campaign at home on Friday, August 31 by hosting the Mustang Stampede on Stevenson's Greenspring campus.
Stevenson is home for its first two meets of the season. After the opener, the Mustangs play host to the annual Shannon Henretty Invitational, an event held in honor of former cross country and track and field student-athlete Shannon Henretty '14 on Saturday, September 8. After that, the Mustangs are idle until Saturday, September 29, when they travel to the Eastern Shore to compete at Salisbury's Don Cathcart Invitational.
October begins with the Goucher Cross Country Classic on Saturday, October 6, followed by the Rowan Inter-Region Border Battle on Saturday, October 13. After the LVC Last Chance meet on Friday, October 19, Stevenson hosts the 2018 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships on Saturday, October 27. The Mustangs placed second last season.
The NCAA Mideast Region Championship is set for Saturday, November 10 and will be hosted by DeSales University in Center Valley, Pa. The NCAA national meet, hosted by Wisconsin-Oshkosh, is set for the following Saturday, November 17.
