ANNVILLE, Pa. – Senior Jonyae Curry and junior Hannah Crist of the Stevenson University women's basketball team were named to the MAC Commonwealth All-Conference team announced Thursday morning. Curry was honored for the third time in her career and for the second straight season as a Second Team selection, while Crist earned Honorable Mention status.
Curry has started all 23 games in which she has appeared and is averaging 15.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 2.0 assists per game while shooting 47% from the floor and 86.9% from the free throw line. She has reached double figures in scoring 20 times. Curry currently ranks fourth in the MAC Commonwealth in scoring, second in steals, eighth in rebounding, first in free throw percentage and fifth in field goal percentage.
Crist has been in the starting lineup for all 25 games this season and is averaging 12.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.3 steals per game. She has knocked down a team-high 40 three-pointers on the season and Crist has reached double figures in scoring 20 times this season. She is fourth in the MAC Commonwealth in three-point percentage (34.5%) and her 40 threes are eighth in the conference, while her 2.3 steals per contest are fifth-best in the league.
