ANNVILLE, Pa. - Stevenson women's soccer junior midfielder Sam Hooker was named to the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) First Team while senior goalkeeper Tiffany McKee was named to the Second Team as voted upon by the league's coaches.
It is the second consecutive all-conference honor for Hooker, who earned honorable mention honors last season, while McKee earns her fourth consecutive all-conference award after being honorable mention her first three seasons.
Hooker started all 18 games at midfield this season, totaling five points on two goals and one assist. The junior captain scored the game-winning on a penalty kick in overtime to clinch the victory over Widener while also scoring in the team's victory versus Lycoming. Defensively, Hooker helped lead the Mustangs to seven shutouts. Hooker has started in all 57 games since arriving at Stevenson.
McKee started in 17 of the team's 18 games in net and totaled a career-high 107 saves and 11 wins, while tying her career-best with seven shutouts. A two-time MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week this season, McKee recorded a career-high 16 saves in a win over St. Mary's (Md.) and recorded 14 saves versus No. 7 Messiah. For her career, McKee set the program record with 317 saves, 22 shutouts, 38 wins, 6204:03 minutes played and 72 starts.
