Mustangs Five-Game Win Streak Halted at Hood

FREDERICK, Md. - For the fourth consecutive game, Stevenson women's soccer senior Brianna Christie found the back of the net, but it wasn't enough as the Mustangs had their five-game winning streak snapped in a 4-2 MAC Commonwealth loss versus Hood Tuesday evening at Thomas Athletic Field.

  • The Mustangs (6-7-1, 3-1-0 MAC Commonwealth) controlled the game early, recording the first five shots, including a shot just 31 seconds into the contest by junior Allison Arters.
  • In the 17th minute, the visitors took a 1-0 lead on a goal by senior Marissa Inglisa. Junior Melanie Parncutt picked up the assist.
