YORK, Pa. - The Stevenson women's swimming team took first overall and set a new school record in the 4x200 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 1:47.11 on opening night of the MAC Swimming Championships, held at the Graham Aquatic Center. Seniors Colby Stein, Julianna Burnett, Isabelle Ramsland and junior Melanie Milam defeated second place and top-seeded Messiah by almost a full second.
In the 4x800m Freestyle relay, Ramsland, senior Natalie Wasicko, junior Bailey Hurt and freshman Emily Wolff finished with a school record mark of 8:24.66, earning them seventh place out of 11 squads.
After the first of four days of competition, the Mustangs are second in the team standings with 64. Messiah leads with 74.
The second session begins on Friday, February 15 at 9:45 am, with the third session taking place at 5:45 pm.
