NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Stevenson women's track and field team finished fourth overall at the ECAC Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships held at The Armory in New York City. Stevenson's point total (58) and place in the team standings are its highest ever at the ECAC's.
Freshman Allison Krahe shattered her own school record of 2:24.23 in the 800m run, which was set at the 2018 MAC Championships, with a time of 2:19.58 to place second.
Sophomore Dyonne Hicks broke her previous record set last week at the MAC Championships (11.33m) in the triple jump with a hop, skip and jump of 11.35m to take third overall in event.
Also picking up a second-place finish was sophomore Danika Ani who set a personal-best in the weight throw with a toss of 15.04 meters. Juniors Allison Bishop and Jess Rega placed fifth and sixth with throws of 14.16 and 13.77m.
Penn State-Behrend won the team title with 87 points, while Salisbury and Misericordia placed second and third with 83 and 76.
The Mustangs currently have top-three performances in four events in the Mideast region this season, including Bishop who had the top toss in the weight throw (15.58m set at the MAC Championships).
