ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - Down 12-8 in the fifth set, Stevenson University scored the final seven points to secure a 15-12 win to cap a 3-2 victory over Elizabethtown College in non-conference women's volleyball Thursday night at Thompson Gymnasium. Set scores were 19-25, 25-19, 25-18, 21-25, 15-12.
- After a Darian Hileman kill forced the eighth tie of the first set at 9-9, Elizabethtown (16-15) scored three straight points to take a 12-9 lead.
- Stevenson (17-11) cut the lead to one five times before another 3-0 spurt by the Blue Jays gave them a 20-16 lead.
- Etown scored four of the final five points of the frame and back-to-back Mustang errors ended the set to give the hosts a 1-0 lead.
- Stevenson jumped out to an early 6-1 lead.
- The Blue Jays got back within one twice, but four straight points that included back-to-back kills by Katie Leftridge and Moriah Savage pushed Stevenson's lead to 20-15.
- Kills by Hileman, Leftridge and Mackenzie Blevins ended the set as the Mustangs scored the final three points.
- The Mustangs trailed 9-7 when they reeled off six straight points to take a 13-9 lead. Hileman had back-to-back kills and Emily Pellini had a service ace.
- Back-to-back kills by Leftridge and Blevins extended Stevenson's lead to 18-12.
- A Hileman kill closed out the set and put the visitors on top 2-1.

- Stevenson won its sixth straight match, its longest win streak of the season.
- The Mustangs hit .175 as a team, while Elizabethtown was held to a .112 hitting percentage.
- Leftridge finished with 19 kills, 17 digs and a .317 hitting percentage. The double-double was her 10th of the season.
- Savage hit .379 and totaled 14 kills. She now has 999 career kills.
- Prokic finished with nine blocks on the evening and added five kills. The nine blocks were her most since October 13, 2016 against Catholic when she also had nine.
- Hileman finished with nine kills and 11 digs, while Blevins contributed eight kills.
- Julie Nightwine totaled 28 kills and 11 digs, while Caroline Dangel had 21 assists and eight digs.
- Pellini recorded 10 digs.
- Stevenson improved to 4-4 in five-set matches this season.
- Stevenson returns to MAC Commonwealth play Tuesday, October 23 when it travels to Alvernia for a 7:00 contest.
- The Mustangs host Hood for Senior Night on Thursday, October 25 at 7:00 at Owings Mills Gymnasium.
