Murray was hired as the as the first-ever Assistant Athletics Communication Director in June 2015. She was named the Assistant Compliance Director in July 2019.

She is the main contact for men's and women's soccer, men's and women's golf, men's and women's ice hockey, and men's lacrosse. Murray won the 2017 NCAA Division III and D3SIDA Recognition Award for her article, From Refugee to Survivor, Achol Odolla is Running Free. She won two Fred Stable, Sr. Writing Contest district awards in 2018 for General Feature of the Year and Season Preview/Recap of the Year.

A graduate of Stevenson, Murray was a key member of the Mustangs’ women’s basketball team for head coaches Chris Ramer and Jackie Boswell. She served as the Mustangs’ team captain in her junior and senior seasons and still ranks in the top-10 in three-pointers made.

During her undergraduate years, Murray worked as a student assistant with Stevenson’s sports information department. She graduated from Stevenson in 2013, with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. 

Murray remained at Stevenson for two years following graduation, serving as the sports information graduate assistant from 2013-15. She was a co-author of the 2013 Stevenson football game program, which was voted the second-best in NCAA Division III by the College Sports Information Directors Association. Murray earned her Master’s Degree in Business Technology and Management in May 2015.

Murray, who played prep basketball and soccer at Baltimore’s St. Paul’s School for Girls, lives in Mt. Washington.
